The Missorts Book Cover Design Prize is now closed and we are delighted to officially unveil the top-10 shortlisted designs.
The shortlisted designs have been passed on to our judges for review, and a winner will be confirmed by the end of the month. Our expert judges include Emily King, former Frieze writer, design historian and curator, and Fraser Muggeridge, award-winning graphic designer and educator.
The designers shortlisted set the bar for what was a collection of confident, creative and diverse entries. The top-10 went one step further in communicating a poignant yet playful understanding of Tony White’s novella, taking us from post-boxes to illustrated pigeons, maps to urban textual scrambles.
It goes without saying we would like to thank absolutely everyone who took the time out to enter the competition, we were genuinely moved and impressed by the high standards and detail in all the submissions we received. Continue reading and see the designs.
Congratulations to Clare Nugent from MA Graphic Arts.
